Daramulun, the initiation deity of the southeastern Australian Bora ceremony, whose voice is heard in the bullroarer and the thunder; reckoned a son of Baiame in the Wiradjuri/Kamilaroi All-Father complex synthesized by Howitt. Regional variation is significant: among the Yuin, Daramulun is himself the supreme being and son of a great mother rather than of Baiame — recorded here under the Baiame-father tradition.
