Karlyk

Karlyk is an intermediary spirit of the upper world named in Anokhin's shamanic texts as the constant companion of the watcher Suila. Where Suila keeps watch, Karlyk bears the message: he carries tidings between the heavenly powers and the human world and assists the ascending kam along the celestial road. He appears always in tandem with Suila, the pair forming a unit among the mediating spirits that stand between Ülgen and humankind.
