Nithhad

The king (Old Norse Níðuðr) who captured the smith Wayland, hamstrung him, and set him to forge on an island. Father of Beadohild and of two sons whom Wayland killed in revenge, fashioning cups from their skulls; Wayland then begot Widia on Beadohild and escaped by flight.
