Son of Wayland the Smith and Beadohild; a celebrated warrior of Germanic legend (the Viðga/Witige of the later Dietrich von Bern cycle). Named in Widsith and Waldere among the great heroes; his descent from the divine smith gave him his renown and his sword Mimming.
