A RIVAL KA'BA, AND THE SOURCES SAY SO OUTRIGHT. His temple was called the Ka'ba of Yemen, which makes him the only figure in this batch whose sanctuary was named against the Meccan one. He is also the batch's one explicit oracle.

- Reference treatment of Dhu'l-Khalasa: a god or temple of pre-Islamic Arabia associated with the worship of the tribe of Banu Daws; an ORACULAR god, also worshipped by the Bajila and Khath'am tribes and reportedly worshipped as a 'god of redemption', whose temple became known as THE KA'BA OF YEMEN; the idol was worshipped by the Daws, Khath'am and Bajila tribes and some other people in the Tabala area, forty-eight kilometres south of Mecca.
