A SUN-GODDESS IN A TRADITION THE CORPUS HELD ONLY THROUGH MECCA. Every Arabian record before this batch was Hijazi or a poet; the North Arabian epigraphic layer — Lihyanite, Safaitic, Thamudic — had no representation at all.

Ibn Ishaq additionally records a house of worship called Ruda' built by the Banu Rabi'a ibn Ka'b of Tamim.
