Artashes
Armenian · mortal · arsacid historical · mortal
THE ERA LABEL IS WRONG AND THE RECORD SAYS SO. This corpus's Armenian vocabulary offers `arsacid-historical` as its only bucket for the historical period, and the Artashes of the tradition is identified with the ARTAXIAD Artaxias I, not with an Arsacid. The record is filed there because it is the only era that can hold it and because the alternative — filing a second-century BCE king in `haykazuni-mythohistorical` — would be worse. THE VOCABULARY QUESTION IS ESCALATED RATHER THAN SOLVED: lane 22 extended a tradition's era list where the case was unambiguous, and this one is a mislabel rather than a gap, which is the owner's call and not this batch's.
