The Iranian Spenta Armaiti is the beneficent spirit of the EARTH; the Armenian Spandaramet is the lord of what is UNDER it, and the word came to mean the underworld outright. No cross-tradition edge is drawn to the Zoroastrian figure and the etymology carries the fact. Carries a verified-solitary verdict.
