Nope
Atoni · mortal · Atoni traditional religion; continuing · Recorded classification
Nope is the ancestral sovereign house of Amanuban, one of the great princedoms of the southern Meto country. Like the other Atoni realms, Amanuban grounds its polity in a charter of origin in which the ruling line descends from an apical ancestor and holds the sacred heirlooms and le'u that bind the fertility and order of the land to its rulers. In Atoni cosmology the sovereign is the earthly correlate of Uis Neno, so the Nope house stands as the mediating point between the sky-lord above, the earth-lord of the ground, and the people of the realm. The name belongs at once to remembered ancestors of legend and to the historically documented rulers of Amanuban.
