Lord of the West

Bororo (Mato Grosso). English 'Lord of the West' leads; Bororo Bakororo. A culture-hero / lord-of-the-dead presiding over the western moiety path, complementary to Itubore in the east. Treated as a deity. The pairing 'Itubore and Bakororo, east and west, death and life' is reported in the Salesian and Crocker material.
