Isimbwa, son of the last Batembuzi king Isaza and of Nyamata (daughter of the underworld-king Nyamiyonga), and father of the Bacwezi founder Ndahura. The hinge between the Batembuzi and Bacwezi dynasties: born in the underworld, he comes up to father Ndahura by Nyinamwiru. Named in the bunyoro_ndahura entry, where the father Isimbwa is son of Isaza, and in the bunyoro_nyamiyonga entry as the son whose mother is Nyamata.
