Orchard and fruitfulness goddess Nikkal-wa-Ib, the Fruitful Great Lady; bride of the moon-god Yarikh in the Ugaritic wedding hymn KTU 1.24, in which the courtship is conducted through Hiribi, the king of summer (sometimes taken as her father, though modern restorations leave that kin-tie uncertain, so no parent is wired here). Her theonym continues Sumerian Ningal (nin-gal, the great lady), the moon-god Nanna-Sin consort, transmitted through Akkadian and Hurrian channels. Authored as the moon-god Yarikh spouse; her spouse-edge is recorded here for the maintainer to mirror on canaanite_yarikh.
