Pughat (Paghat), the wise and dutiful daughter of the sage-king Daniel and sister of the hunter Aqhat. Her standing epithet calls her the one who rises early to draw water, who brushes the dew from the barley, and who knows the course of the stars. Reading the withered vegetation and the vultures over her father house as the signs of her brother murder, she takes up the feud, disguises herself as the goddess Anat, and goes to strike Yatpan, the killer; the clay tablet breaks before the outcome. Typed quartigod to match her brother Aqhat, the mortal child of the deified Rephaim-hero Daniel. Her parent-edge to canaanite_daniel is added here, and her sibling-edge to canaanite_aqhat is recorded for the maintainer to mirror.
