Creator Sister

Chamorro primordial creator-sister; classed as deity. Native term Fu'una (variant Fo'na). Gloss 'Creator Sister'. The animating, world-quickening counterpart to Puntan; her petrification at Lasso' Fu'a in Fouha Bay is the central Mariana origin site, attested from the 1596-97 mission of Fray Antonio de los Angeles onward.
