Hatsikan (Elder Brother, the Morning Star)

Hatsikan ('Our Elder Brother'), identified with the morning star and with the maize/flower-picker god Sautari, is the Cora culture-hero and warrior who mediates between the celestial and chthonic powers; in the mitote he is the elder-brother of the deer-and-maize complex.
