Estonian progenitor-giant and father of Kalevipoeg (demigod/giant tier). English 'Kalev the Giant King' leads; native Kalev in term. The name Kalev/Kaleva is shared with Finnish-Karelian tradition (Kaleva, sons of Kaleva); Toompea hill is folk-identified as Kalev's grave-mound.
