Leinth is a name on mirrors and very little else. The deity belongs to the company of death, and the name has been linked to an Etruscan verb meaning 'to die', though that remains a proposal rather than a result. What the images do settle is that Leinth has no fixed sex: the figure is rendered female in some scenes and male in others, and the record leaves the sex unknown rather than picking one. There is no temple, no festival and no narrative — a genuinely sparse figure, kept sparse.
