Vodu of the bush, the hunt and the wild animals; son of Mawu-Lisa and brother of the other great vodu. The English descriptor leads name.primary; the Gbe name Age stands in alt/etymology. Typed deity. Documented for the Ewe-Fon complex by Herskovits (1938); the cult is that of hunters at the bush-edge.
