THE RECORD CARRIES ITS OWN UNCERTAINTY ON ITS FACE. The sources say plainly that this is among the hardest of Agricola's names to read and that the figure does not reappear in later folklore; Harva's comparison to the Kalevanpojat is recorded AS A PROPOSAL and no edge is drawn from it, on the rule this programme has applied since lane 13. What is not in doubt is that a bishop writing in 1551 listed the name as a god of the Karelians with that function, and that is what the record asserts. Carries a verified-solitary verdict.
