Naa Korle

Naa Korle is the tutelary goddess of the Korle lagoon on the western edge of old Accra and one of the three paramount divinities of the Ga capital, together with the sea god Nai and the war god Sakumo. Women seek children at her waters, and her shrine, Korle We, has long functioned as a court of first appeal in cases of witchcraft and spiritual malfeasance.
