Scion son of Admetus and Alcestis; leader of the Pherae contingent of eleven ships at Troy and owner of the swiftest mares in the Achaean army, reared by Apollo. A suitor of Helen in the Hesiodic-Catalogue tradition. Scion-tier (one-eighth divine) through the maternal Pelias-Poseidon line.
