The id is `hindu_mahabali` and not `hindu_bali`, because the corpus ALREADY HOLDS `hindu_vali` — the vanara king of the Ramayana, a different person entirely — and the sweep for 'Bali' matched that record, which is exactly the false hit this id prevents. vitalStatus records what the story actually does to him rather than a death, because he is not killed: the tradition sends him to the netherworld with a boon to return annually, and in Kerala that return is the festival of Onam. He is the asura the tradition likes, which is why this record does not flatten him into a villain.
