Mandodari
Hindu · mortal · heroic age · Recorded classification
She is counted among the panchakanya, the five women of the invocation recited for good fortune, along with Ahalya — also added in this batch — Draupadi, Sita and Tara. The corpus held Draupadi and Sita, and until now neither of the other two. The list itself is a census note rather than a claim on this record, because the treatment consulted does not give it.

Relations
- queen consort of: RavanaNon-symmetric, so nothing is written onto the pre-existing Ravana record, which the corpus holds with parents and brothers and no wife.Reference treatment: Mandodari was the queen consort of Ravana, the king of Lanka. (secondary)
- counselled: RavanaA second edge, because the marriage is not the interesting fact — the refused counsel is. The corpus holds Vibhishana, who gives Ravana the same advice and defects when it is refused; it did not hold the person who gives it first and stays.Reference treatment: Mandodari repeatedly advises Ravana to return Sita to Rama, but her advice falls on deaf ears.
