Nahusha
Hindu · mortal · mythic · mortal
He is famous for a much larger story — taking Indra's throne during Indra's exile, being carried in a palanquin by rishis, kicking Agastya and being cursed into a serpent for it — and none of that is written here, because the treatment consulted gives his son and his dynasty and nothing else. A record that is one line long where the tradition has ten pages is an honest record of what was retrieved, and the census says so.
