SEMI-PRIMARY ATTESTATION FLAG. Quartigod son of Karṇa (Sūrya-paternal demigod) — the sole-surviving Karṇa-son after Kurukshetra. The BORI Critical Edition mentions him only briefly in the Āśvamedhika Parva as the survivor adopted into the Pāṇḍava court following Kuntī's revelation; the expanded biographical narrative (his role as Aśvamedha-horse-protector, his death and revival by Babhruvāhana) is from the Jaiminīya Aśvamedha Parva (a regional 12th-c. Sanskrit recension), not the BORI mainline. Per Tony's research-report caveat, register with explicit semi-primary flag rather than full-primary.
