Krishna is a Yadava — the corpus holds him, his father Vasudeva, his mother Devaki, his brother Balarama, his sister Subhadra and his half-sister's marriage into the Pandavas — and it did not hold the man the house is named after. With this record and Puru's, the two great families of the epic are finally each other's cousins in the data rather than only in the story.
