The Hittite 'Grandmother,' a primeval mother- and birth-goddess (identified with the Mesopotamian-Hurrian Hannahanna/Nintu) who resolves the disappearing-god crises by sending the bee to find and rouse the lost deity. Associated with childbirth and destiny.
