Liddum inhabits the Kabunyan, the uppermost sky region of the six-layered Ifugao cosmos, and is the god who communicates directly with humankind. In rites for sickness or misfortune he is among the major gods invoked, with offerings of animals and rice wine, to intercede with Mah-nongan or whichever deity is thought to have caused the affliction.
