Bouakarakarabiri is a fearsome forest wizard and master of protective medicine in the Ozidi Saga. Petitioners seek him out to have their bodies charmed against edge and blow, and it is he who orders the preparation of the charms that render Ozidi effectively invulnerable in combat. Ambivalently, he had already worked the same fortification for Ozidi's formidable rival, so that his craft supplies the invulnerability of warriors on both sides of the epic's greatest duels.
