Ines Kannoyan is the beautiful maiden of Kalanutian, the beloved of the hero in Biag ni Lam-ang. Her marriage to Lam-ang is the goal of the epic's second movement, and it is the marriage rite of diving for shellfish that leads to the hero's death and eventual resurrection.
