Inca · deity · mythic · deity

Fire-and-drought huaca of the Huarochiri myth-cycle, lord of the Yunca peoples before the rise of the storm-god Pariacaca, who quenched and expelled him. Named in the prose of Pariacaca as the rival huaca Huallallo. The water-versus-fire contest of Pariacaca and Huallallo Carhuincho is the structural core of the Huarochiri Manuscript.
