His father is named Elatha in the sources; the treatment consulted says only that he 'went to his father's family for aid', so this record says that and Elatha is a BLOCKED census row. Bres is the most interesting political figure in the Irish material — a king deposed for MEANNESS, in a literature where a king's first duty is hospitality — and the corpus held the man he replaced, the man who healed that man, and the battle, and not him.
