TYPE CORRECTED UNDER TEST, and this is the THIRD LANE RUNNING. Fionn was authored 'demigod', which is how the tradition treats him; npm test rejected it as tier-classification drift, because this corpus computes the tier from DESCENT and his father Cumhall is a mortal. The same correction hit Ashwatthama in lane 16 and Shani in lane 17, in both directions. The rule is now understood and should be applied before authoring rather than after testing: in this schema `type` is a function of parentage and not a description of status, and a figure's tier is settled by who its parents are in THIS corpus. Oscar, two generations down, is a `quartigod` for the same reason. THE LARGEST SINGLE ABSENCE IN THIS TRADITION, and the registry had an era waiting for him. He is also the reason this lane exists: a corpus that files Cú Chulainn and gives the other great Irish hero an empty era is not neutral between the two cycles, it just stopped.
