Bishamonten
Japanese · deity · mythic · deity
He is in two groups at once — the Seven Lucky Gods and the Four Heavenly Kings — which is normal for him and awkward for a registry. The sweep matched him to `buddhist_vaishravana` and the relation is written rather than the records merged, because the Japanese figure has a Japanese office, a Japanese armour and a Japanese clientele of warriors, and because merging across that seam would erase precisely the transmission the corpus exists to show.
