Goropui

Goropui appears among the founding ancestors recorded in the traditions of the Grande Terre chieftaincies, an apical figure at the source of a lineage's title to its territory. The genealogies in which he is named blend the mythic beginning of the clan with the memory of its elders, and beyond his role as origin-ancestor little narrative is attached to him.
