Pirjomard is a Khinalug pir and mosque; a dated inscription on the mosque wall records its construction in 1388. The shrine holds the grave of an övliya venerated by the villagers, who gather there to pray and make vows. As with the other Khinalug saints, sources retain the name and cult but little biography, and give the name in several forms.
