Aruna'eramo is remembered in Kwaio accounts of the 1927 uprising and its bloody aftermath as belonging to the warrior line of the ramo Basiana. Like other men of the feud culture he is counted among the ancestral adalo by his descendants, who invoke and sacrifice to their forebears. The published record preserves little detail of him beyond his place in Basiana's line, and sources give only a spare notice.
