Hero of the trilogy's middle epic. Raised in exile in Bukhara unaware of his lineage, he returns to Talas to reclaim his patrimony, gathers his father's surviving companions, wins the swan-maiden Aichürök, and slays the aged Konurbay to avenge Manas before falling to the treachery of his own follower Kanchoro.
