Tʼuup, 'the Youngest', is the smallest and last-born of the gods, charged with tending the sun. In the underworld cycle he cares for the sun that Sukunkyum bears, and narratives credit him with keeping its heat from consuming the world. He is reckoned a son of Sukunkyum.
