Name leads with the English phrase 'the Cairn-God', from the *krouka- ('mound/cairn') etymology; in northwestern Hispania the related 'Crougin Toudadigoe' is attested as a community deity. Some scholars doubt whether Crougeai is a theonym at all. Attested in the Lamas de Moledo (and related) inscriptions; sex unknown, no narrative.
