Sugudon, also rendered Sugujun, is the Manobo lord of the wild animals and patron of the hunt. The deer, wild swine, and other game of the forest are his herds, and a hunter's success depends on his goodwill; offerings and observances are made to secure game and to avoid offending him. He belongs to the class of tutelary diwata who govern particular domains of subsistence in the Agusan Manobo pantheon documented by Garvan.
