The Fox
Nivaclé · numen · Nivaclé traditional religion; continuing · Recorded classification
The Fox is a secondary trickster of Nivaclé tales, greedy and imitative, who repeatedly attaches himself to Cufalh's schemes and is undone by his own appetite. Where Cufalh's cunning shapes the world, the Fox's failed mimicry supplies comic cautionary episodes.
