Hœnir
Norse · deity · primordial · deity
He is in two of the most important scenes in the mythology and is a cipher in both: one of the three who make the first humans in the Völuspá, one of the three who kill the otter, one of the two hostages — and the sources are so uninterested in him that the only characteristic they give him is that he cannot make up his mind. Some readings identify him with Vili, whom the registry holds. This record does not make that identification, because the sources consulted do not.
