Þrymr

The Þrymskviða is the funniest poem in the Edda and one of the best preserved, and the registry had no one in it but Thor and Loki. Þrymr's mistake is procedural: he asks for the hammer to be brought in and laid in the bride's lap to sanctify the marriage, which is apparently the correct rite, and hands a weapon to the person he is marrying.
