Vezkeí
Oscan · deity · Oscan Sabellic religion; pre Roman to Roman Italy · deity
Vezkeí is a name in a list, and the list is the evidence. The Agnone Tablet puts the deity among those who receive offerings in the Garden of Ceres, which fixes the cult context and nothing else: no sex, no sphere, no image, no story. The name has been drawn into the discussion of Latin Vesta and Umbrian Vestiçe, but that is comparative philology rather than attestation, and the record does not adopt it.
