Berouth

Phoenician · deity · mythic · deity

Berouth gets one clause in one quoted fragment of one lost book, and that clause is the whole of the evidence. Her name looks like Beirut's, which would make her a city personified in the ordinary Levantine way, but Philo does not say so and the record does not either. She is here because a cosmogony with a named couple at the start of it should not be recorded with only the husband.
