Shadrafa

Shadrafa heals by fighting. His name is built on the same root as the Rephaim — rpʾ, to heal — and his image on the Amrit stele has him standing on a lion with another lion held by the scruff in one hand and a weapon raised in the other, which is not how a modern reader expects a healing god to be drawn. It is, though, how the Levant drew them: disease is an attacker and the god who cures it is a god who wins fights. The registry held Eshmun, the other great Phoenician healer, and not him.
