One of the principal heroes of the Ho-Chunk pantheon. Named for the red horn-shaped lock of hair that hangs along his ear; also wears living human heads as earrings. Identified iconographically with the Morning Star figure depicted in Mississippian shell engravings (the "Long-Nosed God" maskettes).
