Alba Silvius

Roman · mortal · post trojan war · mortal

Fifth king of Alba Longa per the Livian-Dionysian king-list. The eponymous-renaming tradition (Livy 1.3.8; Dion. Hal. 1.71.3) makes him the namesake of the city — a tradition competing with the Ascanius-foundation-naming. Direct-divine-blood through Aphrodite is 1/32 by this generation; registered as mortal at the registry's 4-generations-from-demigod cap. The Alban king-list continues for ten more kings before terminating with Numitor, Rhea Silvia, and Romulus — but registry depth is capped here.
