Zurvan, the personification of infinite Time and Destiny, stands at the head of the Sogdian high triad. In the Sogdian Vessantara Jataka the supreme Indic creator Brahma is rendered by his name, and in Manichaean Sogdian he lends his name to the Father of Greatness.
